This project is a refined inner-city backyard transformation, where every element has been carefully considered to maximise space, privacy, and liveability. At its heart sits a fully tiled concrete pool, softened by gentle curves and finished in a light mosaic that reflects the sky and surrounding architecture. The pool is seamlessly integrated with a frameless glass fence, maintaining clear sightlines while ensuring safety for the family.

Surrounding the pool, a combination of off-form concrete, rich timber decking, and lush planting creates a balanced, contemporary palette. Vertical timber battens provide both privacy and warmth, contrasting beautifully with the clean lines of the concrete and the dark, textured boundary walls. Layered planting, including hardy architectural species and dense bamboo screening, enhances the sense of seclusion while bringing softness and movement into the space.

The design extends beyond the pool to create multiple zones for outdoor living. A custom outdoor kitchen and BBQ area sits adjacent to a generous lawn and built-in seating, offering the perfect setting for entertaining or relaxed family time. The elevated dining terrace connects seamlessly to the home, blurring the line between indoors and out.

Despite the compact footprint, this project delivers a resort-style experience through thoughtful planning, cohesive materials, and a strong connection between all elements.
